Wall Care - White Cement Based Putty

ADITYA ULTRA WHITE WALL CARE PUTTY

 This is specially developed as a finishing coat to cover unevenness and pinholes in plastered surfaces and to make the walls/ceilings ready for painting, as it is white, it can be treated as a base coat for painting. It contains finest quality minerals, white cement and polymers. Aditya Ultra White is the complete solution of cement/concrete wall & ceiling. SURFACE PREPARATION

• Clean loose particles, dirt, grease and traces of foreign material from the surface, if necessary, by using sand paper or by chipping.
• For loose plaster areas, remove the defective material and re-plaster the area with easyplast ready-mix plaster.
• For ceilings/wall, which are not even, re-plaster it with easyplast ready-mix plaster to make them even.
• Fill up any cracks in base plaster by using POP.

 

MIXING

• Mix slowly and smoothly Aditya ultra white wall putty with 30% - 40% of clean water in a clean bucket. It is very important that Aditya ultra white wall putty to be added in water and not vice-versa.
• Stir continuously by using an electric mixer or by hand to obtain a homogeneous lump-free paste.
• Allow the resultant paste to stand for about 10 minutes for the additives to dissolve.
• Re-mix again for about 2 minutes. The mixture is now ready. Use the mix within 30 minutes.

 

APPLICATION

• Dampen the surface to be plastered with clean water. Allow excess water to drain off.
• Using a steel trowel/blade, apply the above mix to a thickness of about 0.5-0.75 mm. Level and smoothen the surface. Cure the first coat lightly after it dries.
• Apply the second coat of 0.5-0.75 mm after the first coat has fully dried and set. In areas of high temperature & low humidity light curing for two days is recommended.
• The thickness of each coat should not exceed 1 mm and total plaster thickness should not exceed 1.5 mm.
• Smoothen with a steel trowel. Sand paper if so desired, with 600 no. sand paper.

 

PRECAUTIONS

Aditya Ultra White Wall Putty contains only eco-friendly fillers and additives. However, being white cement based, it is alkaline and hence it is advisable to avoid direct eye and skin contact with this. In case of eye contact, flush with clean water at least for 15 minutes and seek medical help.
